Youth Retreat
We want to thank all of you who were praying for our annual youth retreat. This year about 50 of us went away for the day to worship
and seek a closer relationship with God. Some of the youth were deeply touched during special times of prayer and worship.
One of the main focuses of the retreat was to encourage the youth to accept their calling;
not to continue to walk as a child, but to embrace God’s calling on their lives.
Part of the joy of the retreat is getting out of the city and enjoying a time of fresh air and being a part of nature.

Sometimes we have to walk by faith over troubled waters, (ok, cold very cold dirty water).

Conference
May 8-10, we will be hosting the first annual  National Russian Vineyard Conference. This is a Leadership/Worship conference with
people coming from 5 different nations as well as from all the Russian Vineyards, including all the pastors and worship leaders.

We will enjoy hearing from various leaders from the Vineyards in Russia, as well as from the US and Europe. For the Worship part
of the conference, Andy Park has agreed to come lead worship with some of the various worship teams from around Russia as well
as teach about the heart of a worshiper and Songwriting. Andy is a prolific songwriter and a father of worship in the Vineyard.
Please pray for a special anointing to be released among all the Vineyards in Russia for songwriting, fresh anointing and intimacy
in worship.
Please keep this conference in prayer, please pray for the Lord’s Kingdom to come. Pray for a special grace over all the technical
aspects of coordinating the conference; that all will go well. We have many different groups coming and going at different times for
the conference as well as for the pastor’s meetings May 7th. and we need God’s grace and wisdom in coordinating many details.
Youth Group
Recently we have added a youth group to our Sunday morning service and it has been a real blessing. Recently they lead the
congregation in 2 worship songs in both English and Russian, with Stephanie on the bass guitar.they did a great job!

Building friendships and crossing boundaries! One of the
neatest things about youth is their ability to build friendships
that are outside of their cultures and comfort zones. We
have seen God’s blessing on the youth as they come
                                                                                    together.

No wonder God says that we need to become like children.

Please continue to pray for the youth. It is amazing to see so
many young people wanting to serve God and Love him in
the midst of the world. Pray that they will be a strong light
and that they will be protected.

Good bye Vino
Vino is our dear friend; more a member of the family who graduates this year from the
Medical Academy and it will be very hard for us to say goodbye.
He has been a faithful member of the worship team and a leader of the Student
fellowship, not to mention a friend.

Vino is from Sri Lanka, son of an Assembly of God pastor, trusting God with his future.
We ask you to please pray for Vino, he is virtually a man without a country. He is a
Tamil, from the North of Sri Lanka where there is a civil war going on. He is unable to
return to Sri Lanka since it is the Tamils who are at war with the government of Sri
Lanka. More than half of his childhood friends have been victims of the civil war, and
doctors from Tamil ancestry aren’t allowed to work in the local hospitals.

Vino graduates in two months, and is not sure where he will go; presently he has no
income, so he can’t travel wherever he wills. Pray that the Father will open up the
doors that He has intended for him. Please pray for a financial miracle for Vino. His
Uncle who is paying for his education is undergoing some financial struggles and Vino
needs another Miracle to happen so he can graduate.

The two shall become One!
For many years, our young people have been longing for a lasting relationship, but nothing seemed to work out. We are excited that
after many years of praying for our forlorn singles, we are seeing God make some changes in this equation.
Artiom and Valya

Artiom and Valya, have just recently announced their engagement. Artiom was
one of the original converts to Christ through the first Vineyard outreach 15 years
ago. Artiom is also one of our main worship leaders. Valya has been with us for a
year and a half, is one of our translators and is a big help not only with
translation but helps in anyway she can. We are excited for them and rejoice with
them; they are so happy and we all share in their happiness.

                                                    Misha and Larisa
We are excited about Misha and Larisa being engaged, and watching the Lord orchestrate their special friendship. Just 3 years ago,
Larisa lost her husband Maxim to an explosion and was left as a single mom to raise her infant son. Both   Larisa and Misha have
been faithful and passionate in their commitment to Christ and hope to marry this fall.
Misha is our intern working along side Dave as our administrator, and was our first Convert from Islam who came to Christ through
the Alpha course.
